Who We Are

Red Productions is a full-service, award-winning, creative video production company based in Fort Worth and Los Angeles. Translation: We’re basically a bunch of film geeks with the tools and talent to accomplish your goals to a level beyond what you’ve envisioned. (Blown minds are kind of our benchmark.) We stay ahead of the curve, constantly pursuing new, innovative approaches but always with the purpose of creating lasting impact. We dream big, then we wake up and make big happen.

We’re not here to press ‘record’ – we’re here to find your story and go tell it to the world. We love what we do, and we can’t wait to share our passion with you. Just say the word.

Sam Parnell

Senior Editor

Sam runs all post-production activities at Red Productions – developing streamlined processes and ensuring we’re at the forefront of technology, equipment, and content delivery. He is an accomplished editor, having worked on feature films, national TV spots, highlight videos for professional sports teams, music videos and more. He also uses his tiny-editing fingers to create motion graphics, having completed animation pieces for Verizon, MoneyGram, The Dallas Cowboys, iProspect and others.

Sam has a degree from the Radio/TV/Film Department at TCU, and is a two-time intramural champion for Texas Hold’em poker. Away from the studio, Sam can be found obsessing over fantasy football, rooting on Horned Frog Football, or tearing his ACL playing kickball (sometimes with Dan Bailey).

Matt Munson

Gaffer, Editor

Matt’s been making videos since he was 10 with his parents camcorder. After discovering a talent for filmmaking in high school, Matt went on to major in Film, Television, and Digital Media at TCU. He joined up with Red Productions right after college and has been with us since.

Matt loves the physical side of production from lighting our sets to shooting our subjects; if it involves film gear, he’s probably involved with it. He operates as a chief lighting technician, key grip, camera assistant, camera operator, director of photography, editor, DIT, and sometimes professional hand model. Matt loves shooting with our Red Epic Dragon that he’s named Drogon, and frequently calls himself Khaleesi, though nobody else does.

Matt Harton

Head of Production

Born and raised in Dallas, Matt worked in Los Angeles from 2004 – 2013 working in production both for commercials and feature films.

He’s line produced many great projects for brands like Reebok, Target, Equinox, Nike and Everlast.

Steven Navar-Landa

Operations Manager

Developing a knack for story telling since elementary school, I searched the great state of Texas for a place to hone my skills. After making a stop at TCU, I finally settled down at the University of Texas and graduated in 2011 with a degree in Radio, Television, and Film while also completing the Business Foundations Program. Wanting to explore other opportunities, I went to work for a small manufacturing company in El Paso ,TX. Starting in sales, within 2 and a half years I worked my way up to CFO having engaged in international sales, accounting, human resources, management, production forecasting, and even a little frankenstein engineering for beginners. Although I enjoyed my time in manufacturing, the call to get back into production was too great, leading me to find Red Productions. With an education in production, and professional experience in a small but growing company; stepping in as Operations Manager of a small but growing production company was the perfect way to experience the best of both worlds.

Her enthusiasm for telling tales is rooted in her childhood where she built a strong bond with her family over sharing daily narratives. While studying theatre at Texas Wesleyan University, her artistic contributions to productions were expressed both on and off stage where she served as a performer, designer and scene shop assistant. Upon graduation, she combined her love for Fort Worth with her passion for all things creative and sought out Red Productions to foster her growth in the film industry.
