Who We Are

Red Productions is a full-service, award-winning, creative video production company based in Fort Worth and Los Angeles. Translation: We’re basically a bunch of film geeks with the tools and talent to accomplish your goals to a level beyond what you’ve envisioned. (Blown minds are kind of our benchmark.) We stay ahead of the curve, constantly pursuing new, innovative approaches but always with the purpose of creating lasting impact. We dream big, then we wake up and make big happen.

We’re not here to press ‘record’ – we’re here to find your story and go tell it to the world. We love what we do, and we can’t wait to share our passion with you. Just say the word.

Red Sanders

Sam Parnell

Senior Editor

Sam runs all post-production activities at Red Productions – developing streamlined processes and ensuring we’re at the forefront of technology, equipment, and content delivery. He is an accomplished editor, having worked on feature films, national TV spots, highlight videos for professional sports teams, music videos and more. He also uses his tiny-editing fingers to create motion graphics, having completed animation pieces for Verizon, MoneyGram, The Dallas Cowboys, iProspect and others.

Sam has a degree from the Radio/TV/Film Department at TCU, and is a two-time intramural champion for Texas Hold’em poker. Away from the studio, Sam can be found obsessing over fantasy football, rooting on Horned Frog Football, or tearing his ACL playing kickball (sometimes with Dan Bailey).

Sam loves porkchop sandwiches and believes Die Hard is most certainly a Christmas movie.

Matt Harton

Head of Production

Born and raised in Dallas, Matt worked in Los Angeles from 2004 – 2013 working in production both for commercials and feature films.

He’s line produced many great projects for brands like Reebok, Target, Equinox, Nike and Everlast.

Derek Brown

VP, Development & Production

Derek Brown attended Appalachian State University studying Electronic Media Broadcasting and Graphic Design.  After working in Los Angeles for the Academy Award winning production company Voltage Pictures, Derek settled down in Fort Worth, TX in 2012.  Since joining the Red Productions team, he has played a key role in the growth and continued success of our film and television division.  In October of 2014, Derek helped open Red Productions’ Los Angeles office, where he currently resides.  He oversees all of Red Productions’ film and television development.

Steven Navar-Landa

Operations Manager / Production Coordinator

Steven graduated from the University of Texas in 2011 with a degree in Radio, Television, and Film and completed the Business Foundations Program. Wanting to explore his opportunities, he went to work for a small manufacturing company in El Paso, TX. Starting in sales, he worked his way up to CFO within 2 and a half years having engaged in international sales, accounting, human resources, management, production forecasting, and even a little Frankenstein engineering.

Although Steven enjoyed his time in manufacturing, the call of production was too great, leading him to find Red Productions. With an education in production and professional experience in a small but growing company; stepping in as the Operations Manager of a small but growing production company was the perfect fit. With his knack for project management also improving, Steven took over the role and responsibilities of Production Coordinator.

Adam Locy

Originally from San Diego California, Adam has always had a passion for story telling. His pursuit of telling a great story led him to Red productions where he works as an editor.

As an editor at Red Productions, Adam handles part of the editing workload, acts as an assistant editor to the senior editor, and handles any audio recording.

Giselle Saucedo

Executive Assistant

From managing Red’s daily agenda to supporting the success of our interns and meeting all of Scott’s proposed deadlines, Giselle’s skillset variety makes her a studio factotum.

Her enthusiasm for telling tales is rooted in her childhood where she built a strong bond with her family over sharing daily narratives. While studying theatre at Texas Wesleyan University, her artistic contributions to productions were expressed both on and off stage where she served as a performer, designer and scene shop assistant. Upon graduation, she combined her love for Fort Worth with her passion for all things creative and sought out Red Productions to foster her growth in the film industry.

Austin Crum

Assistant Editor

A theater kid at heart, Austin has always had a passion for the behind-the-scenes of entertainment. Austin studied Radio, Television, and Film at the University of North Texas, where he produced several episodes of a student-run TV show over the span of two years.

Now, as an assistant editor, Austin helps the other editors with various tasks along the post-production process. Sometimes that means doing Sam’s laundry, but more often requires tasks like organizing camera footage. Austin has worked with Red Productions since his senior year in college.
