Meet the Team – Margaret Boschini
WHAT IS YOUR NAME AND JOB TITLE?
Margaret Boschini, Administrative Assistant/Community Coordinator
WHERE DID YOU GROW UP AND HOW DID YOU END UP IN FORT WORTH?
I have been in Fort Worth since grade school when my family moved here to work for TCU. I wasn’t born here but I call Fort Worth home for sure!
TELL US A LITTLE BIT ABOUT YOUR FAMILY:
I come from a big catholic family on both sides. My brother and sisters all went to TCU, and most of the things we do revolve around university life and Frog Football!
WHAT IS SOMETHING YOU LOVE?
I love happy hours and long debates concerning things that ultimately do not matter. I also like watching videos of babies and animals doing cute things on facebook (I have a pretty impressive collection if you ever need a pick-me-up).
WHAT IS SOMETHING THAT SCARES YOU?
I HATE the deep ocean. There is so much creepy stuff down there, and probably more that we don’t even know about yet. Why have we just NEVER gone down there?! You’d think that it would be a bigger priority, right?! An adjacent fear of mine are whales because they are too big. Don’t @ me…
HOW DID YOU END UP AT RED PRODUCTIONS? HOW LONG HAVE YOU BEEN WORKING HERE?
When I was in college I was a summer intern at Red Productions. It was sort of my introduction to film, and I went on to intern for a film festival the next year. Three years later, I am back with a little more experience–and this time I get paid!
WHAT DO YOU LOVE TO DO OUTSIDE OF WORK? ANY HOBBIES?
I like watching movies (duh), writing, and reading. I try to read a little every day. I have a small but mighty collection of vintage books that keep me company after work. My apple TV gets a lot of use as well; a good dinner with a BBC nature doc is unbeatable.
WHAT ARE SOME FUN/INTERESTING/WEIRD FACTS ABOUT YOU OR YOUR LIFE?
I was born on Thanksgiving. My grandmother had eighteen siblings. I watched like seven seasons of The Flash on CW because I have no taste. Once when I was younger I killed my fish because I cleaned their cage with soap. I still don’t understand why you aren’t supposed to do that.
I eat candy for breakfast (like, often).
Margaret Boschini discovered her love of film as an intern for Red Productions in 2016. After growing up a little and learning a whole lot, she rejoined the team in 2019 as a full time employee. As Red’s Executive Assistant, Margaret keeps busy by keeping Red busy. She is often seen running around the office with an epic to-do list in her hands and a pencil (or two) in her hair.
As a proud Texan and graduate of Texas Christian University, Margaret considers herself lucky to work at a company that marries her two great loves: Film and Fort Worth!
