American Heart Association of Tarrant County
HEART BALL EVENT SIZZLE
The American Heart Association is the nation’s oldest and largest voluntary organization dedicated to fighting heart disease and stroke, America’s #1 killer. We teamed up with AHA to localize the need in Tarrant County and show the role that AHA plays in providing support to families and survivors affected by heart disease and stroke. This year’s Heart Ball gala was held in Fort Worth, with efforts focused on supporting the need for CPR/AED kits in local schools.
To make a connection with our audience, they had to hear first-hand about the massive impact heart disease has had on their community, and show how we can start making a difference right now. We asked to hear stories direct from survivors and those touched by the disease. No scripts. No filters. No actors. Together, brave members of the community volunteered their stories, uniting to show that heart disease is real, that it does not discriminate, and that anyone is at risk.
