One of the coolest parts about working in video production is the behind the scenes moments on set. From script to screen, we get to see it all. The hysterical outtakes, mishaps, the one-take wonders and the OH Sh&@!! moments. It’s what makes this job, OH. SO. FUN. As with all projects, new relationships are formed, nerves are tested and minds are wrung dry of every ounce of creativity. This year’s TCU National TV spots were no different. Our team was asked to produce four :15 second TV spots that would complement TCU’s print and outdoor campaign.
For two full days last spring, we invaded the beautiful TCU campus. Grip trucks, crew, kraft services, dollies, cameras, hot lights and annoying producers shouting on bullhorns. Yes, that was US! Think of the infield at a NASCAR race, sans the beer, bikinis and … well I’ll just stop there. It truly was organized chaos. Luckily for us, what appears on screen looks a whole lot better than what is behind the camera. We hope you agree! Make sure to keep an eye out for these spots during the televised TCU Football games.
Two of the four TCU TV spots will premiere tonight on ESPN when the Horned Frogs take on the Baylor Bears.
