Erica Silverman

Erica is an Emmy Award winning writer, director, and editor based in Fort Worth, Texas. Named after an alias, she was born into a world full of stories. Ever since she can remember, she’s been writing and dreaming. A business school dropout and self taught filmmaker, her work has a reputation for being visually striking and emotionally resonant. An acclaimed music video, narrative, and commercial director, her work has won a bunch of trophies and has racked up over one billion views online and on TV. Her latest short film, Passing Through, had a successful festival run, winning Best Narrative Short at the Lone Star Film Festival and the Grand Prize Marilyn Mason Award at the Rhode Island International Film Festival, before premiering on Short of the Week. When she’s not busy making things, she spends her time exploring the world with her three young kiddos.
