SOCIAL MEDIA MANAGER

We are seeking a talented and creative individual to join our team as a Social Media Manager. This role involves developing engaging content for one of our clients, managing multiple social media accounts, and implementing strategies to enhance brand visibility and engagement. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of social media trends, excellent communication skills, and the ability to create visually appealing and compelling content.

Responsibilities/Expectations

Content Planning and Scheduling:
  • Develop high-quality, engaging content for social media platforms, including but not limited to text posts, images, videos, and infographics.
  • Brainstorm and pitch creative ideas for social media campaigns and initiatives.
  • Ensure consistency in brand voice, messaging, and visual aesthetics across all social media channels.
Content Planning and Scheduling:
  • Develop content calendars and schedules to ensure a consistent posting cadence and optimize engagement.
  • Use social media management tools to schedule posts, track performance, and manage content workflows efficiently.
Account Management:
  • Work with the client to identify KPIs
  • Manage and maintain multiple social media accounts across various platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, and TikTok.
  • Monitor and respond to comments, messages, and inquiries in a timely and professional manner.

Qualifications:

  • At least two years creating social content for brands.
  • Degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • Proven experience in social media management and content creation, preferably in a professional setting or agency environment.
  • Strong understanding of various social media platforms, their respective audiences, and best practices for content optimization.
  • Familiarity with graphic design tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite) and video editing software is a plus.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail and storytelling ability.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks effectively, and work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Creative thinker with a passion for staying updated on industry trends and emerging social media platforms.
